Program: Digital Skills Training
Outcome: Web Developer

Thabo came to New Lease of Life Foundation after spending two years homeless in Pretoria. With no formal education beyond Grade 9, he felt hopeless about his future. Our assessment revealed a natural aptitude for problem-solving and logical thinking.

Through our 6-month digital skills program, Thabo not only learned web development but also discovered his passion for technology. He completed internships with two local tech companies and eventually secured a full-time position as a junior developer.

Today, Thabo earns a competitive salary, has his own apartment, and volunteers as a mentor in our program, inspiring other young people to believe in their potential.

Lindiwe was living in a shelter for women when she heard about New Lease of Life Foundation. Despite having no prior experience in trades, she was determined to create a better future for herself and her young daughter.

Today, Lindiwe's business serves over 50 clients monthly and employs three other women from disadvantaged backgrounds. She's become a role model in her community and an advocate for women in trades.

Today, Sipho's farm produces over 200kg of vegetables monthly and employs four other young people. He's expanded into training other aspiring urban farmers and has become a leader in sustainable agriculture in his community.
