Our Story
From a vision to a growing programme.
New Lease of Life Foundation was founded by Rev. Mogomotsi Diutlwileng, who saw that homelessness among young people was not just a housing issue, but a complex challenge requiring holistic solutions.
2023 — The Beginning
New Lease of Life Foundation was established with a clear vision: to transform the lives of homeless youth through comprehensive training and development programs.
Early 2024 — Programme Development
We developed our three pillars of training—Technical Skills, Life Skills, and Entrepreneurship—working with industry experts, educational institutions, and community leaders.
Mid 2024 — First Cohort
Our first cohort of 25 young people began their transformation journey through intensive boot camps, skills training, and mentorship.
Late 2024 — Community Impact
Our graduates began securing employment, starting businesses, and becoming mentors to new participants, as a growing base of volunteers joined our mission.
2025 — Expanding Impact
Today, we continue to expand our programmes, reaching more young people and creating lasting change in communities across South Africa.
How We Work

Technical Skills Training
Practical skills development in high demand trades and digital technologies—digital literacy, plumbing & water systems, sustainable farming, and construction basics.

Life Skills Development
Personal development and workplace readiness— personal identity, communication, financial literacy, and workplace etiquette.

Entrepreneurship Training
Business skills for self employment—new venture creation, financial management, business strategy, and market analysis.
